BRICS New Development Bank issued 3 billion RMB panda bonds in China.

The New Development Bank of BRICS, headquartered in Shanghai, announced on the evening of the 5th that it had issued a 3-year Panda bond with a total value of 3 billion yuan in the Chinese interbank bond market. After this issuance, the total value of Panda bonds issued by the New Development Bank in China has reached 78.5 billion yuan. The bank stated that it is actively expanding its sources of funding by issuing bonds denominated in the currencies of member countries, in order to provide funding for infrastructure and sustainable development projects in member countries.
