Netflix has obtained a senior unsecured bridge financing commitment of up to $5.9 billion from a syndicate of banks, including Bank of America, BNP Paribas, and HSBC, to provide funding for the cash portion of its acquisition of Warner Bros. The agreement includes terms that Netflix will pay $2.8 billion to Warner Bros. if they reach or complete an alternative transaction that meets certain conditions, and Netflix will pay $5.8 billion to Warner Bros. if they decide to terminate the merger.
