World Trade Organization: Nearly 20% of global imports are affected by tariffs and other measures.

Recently, the World Trade Organization released its annual Trade Monitoring Report, which shows that currently 19.7% of global imported goods are affected by tariffs and other similar measures, compared to just 12.6% a year ago. WTO Director-General Ivira stated at the official meeting of the Trade Policy Review Body that the global trading system is undergoing the most serious turbulence in 80 years, with a significant increase in unilateral tariffs, escalating geopolitical tensions, and regional conflicts intensifying.
