China Iron and Steel Association: The national crude steel production in late November was 2.16 million tons, a 6.4% decrease month-on-month.

According to data from the China Iron and Steel Association, in late November 2025, key statistical steel enterprises produced a total of 18.18 million tons of crude steel, with an average daily output of 1.818 million tons, a decrease of 6.4% from the previous period; 17.74 million tons of pig iron, with an average daily output of 1.774 million tons, a decrease of 1.3% from the previous period; and 20.8 million tons of steel, with an average daily output of 2.08 million tons, an increase of 8.1% from the previous period. Based on this estimation, the daily production of crude steel in the country for this period is 2.16 million tons, a decrease of 6.4% from the previous period; pig iron production is 2.09 million tons, a decrease of 1.3% from the previous period; and steel production is 4.09 million tons, an increase of 3.2% from the previous period.
