MiHoYo sues company accused of naming villains in the game

According to the Qichacha APP, the court recently published the plaintiff Shanghai Mihayou Ying Iron Technology Co., Ltd. and the defendant Yuanjing Energy Co., Ltd. commercial defamation dispute case. The case is scheduled to be heard in the Xuhui District People's Court of Shanghai on December 9th. According to previous media reports, in the game "Zero Zone" developed by Mihayou, the antagonistic force is a real estate development company named "Yuanjing Industry". In the plot of the game, the company is depicted as engaging in behaviors such as violent demolition disregarding the safety of residents. Yuanjing Energy believes that the "VISION" logo depicted in the game for "Yuanjing Industry" and their English abbreviation trademark "ENVISION" bear a resemblance and could cause confusion, hence they filed a lawsuit. Qichacha shows that the case has been heard multiple times in the People's Court of Jiangyin in July and September.
