The Qinghai procuratorial organs have filed a public prosecution against Dan Zeng on suspicion of bribery in accordance with the law.

Recently, the case of Dangzeng, a former member of the Party group and deputy director of the Forestry and Grassland Bureau of Qinghai Province, suspected of bribery, has been investigated and concluded by the Qinghai Provincial Supervisory Committee and transferred to the procuratorate for review and prosecution. Designated by the Qinghai Provincial People's Procuratorate, the case has been prosecuted by the Hainan State People's Procuratorate to the Intermediate People's Court of Hainan State in accordance with the law. The case is currently under further investigation. During the prosecution and prosecution stage, the procuratorial organs informed the defendant Dangzeng of his litigation rights in accordance with the law, questioned the defendant according to law, and listened to the opinions of the defense counsel. The Hainan State People's Procuratorate accused Dangzeng of using his positions as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and County Mayor of Jiantza County, and Secretary of the Communist Party of Tongren City, Huangnan Prefecture, from 2017 to 2024, to seek benefits for others, illegally accepting property from others in an exceptionally large amount, and should be held criminally responsible for the crime of bribery.
