Recently, the case of Tian Yan, former member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Health Commission of Guizhou Province, and former Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Guizhou Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention, suspected of bribery, has been investigated and concluded by the Guizhou Provincial Supervisory Committee, and transferred to the procuratorial organs for examination and prosecution. Designated by the Guizhou Provincial People's Procuratorate, the case has been prosecuted by the Anshun City People's Procuratorate to the Anshun Intermediate People's Court in accordance with the law. The case is currently being further processed. During the examination and prosecution stage, the procuratorial organ informed the defendant Tian Yan of his litigation rights in accordance with the law, questioned the defendant in accordance with the law, and listened to the opinions of the defense counsel. The Anshun City People's Procuratorate accuses the defendant Tian Yan of using his positions as former member of the Tongren Municipal Committee, Secretary of the Xieqiao Office Party Committee, former member of the Tongren Municipal Committee, Minister of the Propaganda Department, Secretary of the Tongren City Population and Family Planning Committee, Secretary of the Yanjiang County Committee, Secretary of the Wan Shan District Committee of Tongren City, member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Health Commission of Guizhou Province, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Guizhou Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention, etc. to provide convenience in his duties for others to seek benefits, illegally accepting others' property, with an especially large amount, and should be held criminally responsible for the crime of bribery.
