"Union Warmth Initiative" launched during the Spring Festival on New Year's Day in 2026.

The All-China Federation of Trade Unions has issued a notice to launch the Warmth Delivery Action during the New Year and Spring Festival period of 2026, from December 3 to March 3, 2026. The Warmth Delivery Action of the trade unions will focus on difficult workers and key groups of workers. Difficult worker groups include workers who have faced difficulties in their family life due to involuntary layoffs, significantly low family income, or heavy burden of children's education expenses; workers who have faced difficulties in their life due to various disasters, serious illnesses, or sudden accidents suffered by themselves or family members; workers in difficult companies that have closed down or been restructured, leading to difficulties in their life due to suspension or reduction of wages; workers who have become disabled due to work-related injuries or occupational diseases and families of workers who have sacrificed their lives for work; workers who are undergoing major surgery or hospitalization due to serious illnesses. Key groups of workers include newly employed workers in new forms of employment and flexible employment; frontline workers and workers in difficult positions who are sticking to their posts during the holiday period in key areas such as national key projects and major project construction; labor models, advanced workers, and advanced exemplary figures who have emerged in major activities, important tasks, and key projects.
