Wuhan: Striving to achieve a total import and export volume of 800 billion yuan by 2030.

On December 4th, the 12th Plenary Session of the 14th Wuhan Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China was held, where they reviewed and approved the "Five Centers" comprehensive modernization plan for the five-year action in creating a modern Wuhan. It mentions the completion of the International Exchange Center by 2030. By that time, the level of exchanges will increase, with the number of international friendship cities and exchange cities reaching 140, hosting over 100 international exhibitions annually, with 150 international science and technology cooperation platforms, and an annual growth of 20% in inbound tourists, reaching 3.2 million people. Deepening of open cooperation will see over 315 Fortune 500 companies setting up in the city, with the total foreign trade volume reaching 800 billion RMB. The advantages of the hub will be highlighted, with a total of 2.2 million international and regional passengers passing through Tianhe Airport and Huahu Airport annually, serving 80 international and regional air routes, and with over 1,500 trips of China-Europe freight trains departing annually.
