Wuhan: Strive to surpass the 3 trillion yuan economic total by 2030 and build the national economic center.

On December 4th, the 12th plenary session of the 14th Wuhan Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China was held, at which the "Five Centers" comprehensive construction modernization plan for Wuhan for the next five years was reviewed and approved. It was mentioned that the goal is to establish a national science and technology innovation center. By 2030, Wuhan's total research and development expenditure as a proportion of regional GDP will reach 4.3%, the number of talents cultivated and introduced through national and provincial talent projects will reach 20,000, the number of high-value invention patents per 10,000 residents will exceed 60, the number of PCT international patent applications will exceed 3,000, the turnover of technology contracts will exceed 350 billion yuan, and the number of large-scale high-tech enterprises will exceed 5,000.
