On December 4th, Yadea Electric Vehicle issued a statement regarding the positive implementation of the new national standard for electric bicycles: Recently, the China Bicycle Association released a response and initiative regarding recent issues related to electric bicycles, and our company actively responded and firmly implemented it. The new national standard for "Technical Specifications for the Safety of Electric Bicycles" has been fully implemented on December 1st. The new standard no longer requires foot pedals to be installed, which increases the overall weight and range of the vehicle, making it more convenient for consumers in daily travel. At the same time, it optimizes requirements such as fire resistance, braking distance, dynamic safety monitoring, ensuring user safety, and effectively improving the standardization level of the industry. As a member of the electric bicycle industry, our company will firmly implement national policies, respond to the association's initiatives, adhere to the bottom line of compliance, and fully implement the requirements of the new standard. Some recent doubts about the new national standard models appearing online, such as "cannot carry children", "iron seat", "over-speed braking", are mainly due to misunderstandings and misinterpretations of the standard terms, and the products circulated online are only from individual companies and not mainstream designs or products in the industry. There is no such provision in the standard, and our company's products will not have such designs. Currently, our company has launched 68 models that comply with the new national standard, catering to different daily travel scenarios for consumers by optimizing seat comfort and weight capacity, meeting the needs for safe child-carrying, and also installing rearview mirrors to meet consumers' needs. Next, our company will continue to promote product research and development and production with high standards and strict requirements, vigorously introducing more safe and practical new national standard vehicles, to provide consumers with better quality, safer, more convenient, more comfortable, and more diverse electric bicycle products.
