The Federal Aviation Administration announced on Thursday that it has selected Peraton, a national security company under Veritas Capital, as the project manager for a $12.5 billion overhaul of the aging air traffic control system in the United States. In September of this year, the FAA confirmed receiving two bids - one from Peraton and another joint bid from Parsons and IBM. The FAA stated that Peraton will be the sole integrator capable of managing this massive project, and it will deliver the project on time without affecting air traffic.
