National registration of senior volunteers has exceeded 53 million people, assisting in over 4,000 projects.

Today is International Volunteer Day. According to statistics, there are 53.58 million elderly volunteers registered in the national volunteer service information system, becoming an important force in volunteer services. Various regions have successively launched provincial level paired assistance programs such as "Beijing-Mongolia, Hebei-Xinjiang, Shanghai-Yunnan, Zhejiang-Sichuan, Fujian-Ningxia" and carried out more than 4,000 assistance projects under the "Silver Bell Action".
