Apple Inc. announced executive personnel changes.

Apple Inc. announced that Jennifer Newstead will assume the role of General Counsel of the company on March 1, 2026, replacing Kate Adams who has been in the position since 2017. Newstead will join Apple in January next year as Senior Vice President, reporting to CEO Cook, becoming a member of Apple's executive team. Prior to Adams' retirement, the government affairs team will be temporarily managed by her; thereafter, the team will be integrated into the Office of the General Counsel and led by Newstead. Additionally, Lisa Jackson, the vice president in charge of environmental, policy, and social initiative affairs, will retire at the end of January 2026. The environmental affairs and social initiative teams will report to Apple's Chief Operating Officer, Sabih Khan.
