US stock market closing report: Meta up over 3.4%, Nvidia up over 2.1%, while Apple and Amazon both down over 1%.

On Thursday, the index of the seven giant tech stocks in the United States rose by 0.39% to 208.39 points. The "super large" market capitalization tech stock index rose by 0.43% to 403.79 points. Meta Platforms rose by 3.43%, Nvidia rose by 2.16%, Tesla rose by 1.73%, Microsoft rose by 0.65%, Google Class A fell by 0.63%, Apple fell by 1.29%, and Amazon fell by 1.41%. In addition, Berkshire Hathaway Class B shares fell by 0.07%, AMD fell by 0.74%, TSMC fell by 0.85%, and Eli Lilly fell by 1.85%. Apart from Tesla, Google Class A, AMD, Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Meta Platforms, and Amazon, Salesforce rose by 3.66%, Oracle rose by 3.18%, Adobe rose by 0.6%, Broadcom rose by 0.11%, Qualcomm rose by 0.1%, and Netflix fell by 0.71%.
