Subsidiary involved in Dongxu Optoelectronics case, CITIC Securities responds.

On December 4th, CITIC Securities announced that its subsidiary, CITIC Securities South China Co., Ltd., is one of the 37 defendants in a lawsuit for false statements related to Dongxu Optoelectronics, with an amount in dispute of 1.8282 million yuan. The case will be handled through ordinary representative litigation procedures. CITIC Securities stated that the case is related to a dispute arising from a project undertaken by Guangzhou Securities before it was acquired by the company. The potential losses related to this case were fully considered before the acquisition was completed, and it will not have a significant impact on the company's current or future profits.
