According to data from the American job consulting company Challenger, Gray & Christmas, the number of layoffs announced by American companies last month decreased after a sharp increase in October, but still reached the highest level for any November in the past three years. The report also indicates that in addition to the increasing number of layoff announcements, hiring intentions this year have decreased by 35% compared to the same period in 2024. Recruitment plans from the beginning of the year until now are at the lowest level since 2010, including seasonal hiring. The company stated that there were no new holiday hiring plans announced last month.
