The State Administration for Market Regulation has approved the establishment of a batch of national standard substances for Type A influenza virus, in order to ensure accurate and reliable virus testing with precise standard substances, providing precise measurement support for the scientific prevention and control of Type A influenza virus epidemics. In recent weeks, many parts of China have entered the peak season for influenza, with the activity of the influenza virus significantly increasing. It is expected to become the main pathogen for acute respiratory infections in China from this winter to next spring. Monitoring data from the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention shows that the predominant circulating strains at present, besides a small amount of Type H1N1 and Type B influenza viruses, are still the Type A influenza virus H3N2 subtype, accounting for over 95%.
