Ikea opens its first store in New Zealand, making it the 505th store globally.

Ikea opened its first store in New Zealand on Thursday, marking its entry into the 64th global market and also the furthest market from Sweden. This new store is located in the Sylvia Park Shopping Centre in Auckland, covering an area of 34,000 square meters and employing 500 staff. It is Ikea's 505th store worldwide.
