The Australian Society of Accountants: Expects Hong Kong IPO fundraising to reach at least HK$300 billion next year, maintaining its top global ranking.
The Chinese-speaking region's vice chairman of the 2025 Greater China Division of the Australian Society of Accountants (CPA), as well as the vice chairman of the Finance and Economic Affairs Committee, Liang Youting, stated at a press conference that they expect new stock listings (IPOs) in Hong Kong next year to raise at least 300 billion Hong Kong dollars, with more listings than this year. He estimates that the Hong Kong Stock Exchange will be ranked first globally in IPO fundraising this year, and will continue to hold the top spot next year as well. Regarding whether Middle Eastern companies will list on the Hong Kong Exchange next year, Liang Youting mentioned that the Hong Kong Stock Exchange has signed many Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with Middle Eastern institutions, and they hope to see Middle Eastern companies listing in Hong Kong next year.
