Nine Peaks Mountain Laboratory releases latest results of gallium nitride power module, saving 300 million kilowatt-hours of electricity for supercomputer AI power centers per year.

The Jiufengshan Lab has released the latest achievement in Gallium Nitride power modules. When one million of these modules are installed in a super large AI computing center cabinet with a capacity of 1 gigawatt, nearly 300 million kilowatt-hours of electricity can be saved per year, equivalent to around 240 million yuan in electricity costs. Dr. Li Sichao, the team leader, stated that the achievement has completed conceptual verification and will soon begin pilot verification. It is expected to be mass-produced within 3-5 years to meet the demand of the billion-level market.
