On December 4, 2025, the Satellite Internet Industry Eco Conference opened in Songjiang, Shanghai. At the conference, the Songjiang Satellite Internet Industry Agglomeration Zone was officially launched. It is reported that Shanghai is currently working to build a "Satellite Internet City" with global influence, and the spatial agglomeration of industries is a key move towards this grand goal. Songjiang District, relying on its strong foundation in advanced manufacturing and the strategic advantage of the "G60 Science and Innovation Corridor," has taken the lead by successfully gathering over 50 companies in the industrial chain around key enterprises such as "Qianfan Constellation." By 2024, the industry scale had exceeded 20 billion RMB, and it was selected as a national-level characteristic industry cluster for small and medium-sized enterprises.
