Asus responds to being hacked and blackmailed.

Hacker group Everest announced that they have infiltrated Asus' internal systems and stolen over 1TB of data. In response, Asus issued a statement pointing out that a supplier was attacked by hackers, affecting some image processing source code for Asus phones, but not affecting Asus products, internal systems, or user privacy. Asus emphasized that they will continue to strengthen supply chain security and comply with information security standards.
