Can "dance" and "weld" A mini shipbuilding robotic arm appeared for the first time in China

The 2025 China International Maritime Exhibition is currently taking place in Shanghai. As one of the most influential maritime events globally, the exhibition not only features the latest ship products, but also showcases some newly upgraded shipbuilding equipment, which is making its debut in public for the first time. One highlight of the exhibition is a mini mechanical arm that appears to be "dancing" on the exhibition floor. In fact, it is a welding equipment used in ship construction, demonstrating its nimble welding technology to the audience. According to Lu Yanhui, the Deputy General Manager of the Shanghai Ship Transportation Institute, it is the first portable welding robot used in shipbuilding in our country. It can directly image after laser recognition, then integrate with the background data for welding, with many intelligent adaptive algorithms embedded in it.
