Hermes heir Nicolas Puech is suing LVMH group and its CEO Bernard Arnault in a civil court in Paris, France, to recover approximately 14 billion euros worth of Hermes shares that he claims to have lost. Puech alleges that his former wealth manager Eric Fremont sold his Hermes shares to Arnault without his knowledge. He has filed civil lawsuits against Fremont, LVMH, and Arnault. LVMH and Arnault deny Puech's accusations, stating that they have never transferred or held any "hidden" Hermes shares, and they may take legal action to defend their rights.
