The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs has deployed the inspection of national winter crops seeds to ensure the safety of spring and summer planting seeds next year.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs recently deployed nationwide winter crop seed supervision inspections and sent work teams to key areas to provide supervision and guidance. This inspection focuses on key crops such as corn, rice, soybeans, cotton, vegetables, as well as national disaster relief and famine reserve seeds. The key aspects being checked include the production and operation qualifications of seed companies, seed quality, labeling, variety authenticity, etc. Illegal activities such as production and operation without a license, counterfeit seeds, and trademark infringement will be strictly dealt with according to law. At the same time, special clean-up actions will continue on online platforms selling seeds to prevent unqualified and illegal seeds from entering the market, effectively ensuring the safety of seeds used in agricultural production and supporting the significant increase in grain and oil crop yields.
