Jiangxi: Newly approved first generic chemical pharmaceuticals that generate economic benefits will be rewarded with 2 million RMB for each variety according to regulations.

The General Office of the People's Government of Jiangxi Province recently issued the Implementation Opinions on Promoting the High-Quality Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry through Comprehensive Deepening of Drug, Medical Device, and Cosmetics Supervision and Reform. It proposes to improve the innovation support mechanism. Establish a collaborative mechanism for the research and development evaluation of cosmetics, support the technological innovation of cosmetic raw materials and the registration application of new functional cosmetics in accordance with the law. For each variety of innovative drugs newly approved in our province and the third type of innovative medical device registration certificate that generates economic benefits, a reward of 10 million yuan will be given as specified; for each variety of newly approved first generic chemical drug that generates economic benefits, a reward of 2 million yuan will be given as specified. Encourage municipal governments and park management committees to implement reward policies for national innovative drugs, new drugs from ancient classic traditional Chinese medicine, innovative medical devices, and innovative cosmetic raw materials. Encourage banking institutions to develop more "long-term, light collateral, heavy credit" credit products tailored to the characteristics of the pharmaceutical industry, increase loan disbursement, and expand business coverage. Utilize the provincial modern industry guidance fund and related science and technology innovation funds to invest in pharmaceutical companies with potential for listing.
