Zhong Guodong appointed as the General Manager of China Huaneng Group Limited Company.

On December 3, 2025, China Huaneng Group Limited held a leadership team meeting. Comrade Zhong Guodong was appointed as the director, general manager, and deputy secretary of the party group of China Huaneng Group Limited, and relieved of his positions as director and deputy secretary of the party committee of China Merchants Group Limited, by the decision of the Party Central Committee announced by the relevant cadres of the Central Organization Department entrusted by the Party Central Committee. The appointment and removal of related positions shall be handled in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
