From December 2nd to 5th, the 22nd China International Maritime Technology Conference and Exhibition was held in Shanghai. Gao Dongsheng, Chief Economist of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, attended the opening ceremony, toured the exhibition, and participated in high-level maritime forums, delivering a speech. Secondly, promote the upgrading of the industry and the development of emerging industries. Accelerate the empowerment of green technologies and artificial intelligence, strengthen standardization, establish advanced research and development, manufacturing, and industrial systems, focus on the frontier areas of ocean economy development, and promote the research and industrialization of emerging marine engineering equipment. Thirdly, strengthen the construction of industry clusters and the cultivation of high-quality enterprises. Promote the aggregation of innovative elements, high-level talents, and high-level platforms, promote the construction of world-class ship and marine industrial clusters in three major shipbuilding bases, cultivate world-class ship and marine enterprises and specialized new small and medium-sized enterprises. Fourthly, adhere to open cooperation and mutually beneficial development. Create a favorable business environment, strengthen international bilateral and multilateral dialogues, deepen global industrial layout and division of labor cooperation, and explore new cooperation opportunities in green development, artificial intelligence, and other fields.
