According to the Shanghai Economic and Information Commission, the high-quality development conference of the world-class modern shipbuilding base on Changxing Island in 2025 was successfully held on December 2. Gao Dongsheng, Chief Economist of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, pointed out in his speech that promoting the high-quality development of shipbuilding and marine engineering equipment industries is a key measure to implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party, and to serve the country as a strong manufacturing, shipbuilding, and maritime power.
