Procter & Gamble warns: Softness in some consumer goods sectors in the United States.

According to Andre Schulten, Chief Financial Officer of Procter & Gamble, the sales of the product categories that P&G competes in the US market have seen a "significant decline" in October and possibly for the entire month of November. The decline in sales in these categories is a challenging backdrop for the US business, but still within its annual guidance range. The company will continue to focus on excellent strategic acquisition opportunities, with a main focus on finding brands that can help expand scale in the healthcare and beauty categories.
