Nike (NKE) announced changes in its executive team aimed at streamlining the organizational structure to better connect with athletes and the market. The senior leaders of Nike's four major geographic regions will join the company's global executive leadership team. This restructuring includes the elimination of the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer, previously held by Craig Williams. Additionally, the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer has been eliminated, and Muge Dogan, the current holder of that position, will be leaving the company. Venkatesh Alagirisamy, the current Chief Supply Chain Officer, will now serve as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
