According to data from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, as of the week ending October 21, speculative clients on the New York Mercantile Exchange reduced their net long positions in copper futures by 852 contracts to 59,880 contracts. Gold speculators reduced their net long positions by 17,442 contracts to 92,134 contracts. Silver speculators reduced their net long positions by 6,425 contracts to 18,537 contracts.
