Major stock indices in Europe closed higher.

The European Stoxx 600 index rose by 0.04%, the European Stoxx index rose by 0.2%, and the Eurozone blue-chip stock index rose by 0.34%. The UK's FTSE 100 index remained flat, Germany's DAX index rose by 0.51%, France's CAC 40 index fell by 0.3%, and Spain's IBEX index rose by 0.5%.
