The first accessible AI companion reading system focusing on the reading needs of blind children in our country is launched.
On December 2nd, on the eve of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, China's first accessible AI reading system focusing on the reading needs of blind children, the "Xingguang AI Reading Companion" "Xiaoxing", was launched. Users can register and use the system for free by logging in to the comprehensive digital interactive platform for blind education resources using their phones or computers. The system was jointly developed by China Braille Publishing House and technology companies, capturing the three core pain points in blind children's reading: operational barriers, comprehension bottlenecks, and emotional deficits, addressing the issues of blind children not being able to "see", "understand", and have "no interaction" while reading.
