Amid the global slump in sales, Tesla's sales in China increased for the third time this year in November.
According to the preliminary data released by the China Passenger Car Association on Tuesday, Tesla's (TSLA.US) Shanghai factory sold 86,700 cars in November, an increase of 10% from the same period last year. Against the backdrop of a general decline in global sales for the company led by Elon Musk, the shipment volume from its Chinese factory has only achieved growth for the third time this year. This is the second-highest shipment volume for the company this year, second only to the wholesale volume in September.
