Fujian Nanping encourages Taiwanese compatriots to participate in the renovation and upgrading of Nanping homestays.

On the morning of the 2nd, the Information Office of the People's Government of Fujian Province held a series of press conferences on the implementation of the "Opinions of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the State Council on Supporting Fujian to Explore a New Path of Integrated Development across the Taiwan Straits and Building a Demonstration Zone for Integrated Development across the Taiwan Straits". Zhang Zhaoyang, Deputy Secretary of the Nanping Municipal Committee of Fujian Province and Minister of the United Front Work Department, introduced at the meeting that Nanping City has innovatively launched the "Wuyi Mingsu" brand, which has attracted great interest from tourism operators across the Taiwan Straits and shown positive momentum. Nanping will provide financial support for Taiwanese operators to participate in the operation and upgrading of homestays under the "Wuyi Mingsu" brand, injecting new energy into the brand. The next step will focus on three aspects: First, close cooperation and coordinated promotion. Around the creation of the "Wuyi Mingsu" brand, relevant departments at the city and county levels, as well as homestay associations, will establish one-on-one connections with Taiwan compatriots and enterprises applying for homestay upgrade and renovation, improve policy coordination efficiency, enhance brand promotion and market publicity, and jointly promote the integrated development of homestay industry in southern Taiwan. Second, strengthen exchanges and cultivate professional talents. Continuously promote cross-strait exchanges and cooperation in "Mingsu", invite experts, scholars, and senior practitioners in tea culture and homestay industries from both sides of the Taiwan Straits to provide training and guidance, help Taiwanese compatriots and enterprises better understand and grasp the elements of integrated tea space, tea experience, and tea tourism services, and improve the level of homestay management and operation. Third, optimize measures and provide convenient services. Provide one-stop services such as policy consultation, technical guidance, and project approval for Taiwanese compatriots and enterprises applying for homestay upgrade and renovation, ensuring efficient progress in the application for homestay upgrades by Taiwanese enterprises.
