According to State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power, as of the end of October, the total installed capacity of power sources in Zhejiang Province reached 174 million kilowatts, with an additional 21.83 million kilowatts of new power sources installed during the year, setting a new historical record. Among them, clean energy sources such as wind, solar, water, and nuclear added 16.85 million kilowatts of new capacity, accounting for nearly 80% of the new power sources installed during the year. Among the new power sources, photovoltaics have become the main force. This year, Zhejiang Province has experienced a surge in photovoltaic installations due to factors such as policy driving. As of the end of October, the total photovoltaic installed capacity in the province reached 61.83 million kilowatts, with an increase of 14.56 million kilowatts during the year, accounting for two-thirds of the new power sources. Among them, distributed photovoltaic installations on rooftops of residences and factories reached 51.43 million kilowatts, with a maximum output of 31.29 million kilowatts, adopting a model of "self-generation, self-use, surplus electricity to the grid," allowing more people to use green electricity.
