When will the era of "ChatGPT moments" for robots arrive? NVIDIA executive: Two conditions must be met.

Amazon's cloud service provider AWS held the annual re:Invent conference in Las Vegas, USA in 2025, and Amit Goel, the head of Nvidia's robot and edge computing ecosystem, was invited to attend the panel discussion. When asked about when the "ChatGPT moment" for robots will arrive, Amit Goel said that first, hardware must become as affordable and ubiquitous as smartphones, and second, robot intelligence must be practical enough. As for how much time it will take, Goel did not make a direct prediction, only stating that all the "ingredients" needed to achieve this moment already exist, and the ecosystem has prepared the relevant "recipes."
