Release of national natural disaster risk situation in December.

Recently, the Office of the National Committee for Disaster Reduction and Relief, together with the Ministry of Emergency Management, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Water Resources, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the China Meteorological Administration, the National Energy Administration, the State Forestry and Grassland Administration, and other departments, held a consultation meeting to assess the national natural disaster risk situation in December 2025. A comprehensive analysis indicates that in December, some areas in the Northeast, eastern Inner Mongolia, and northern Xinjiang face high risks of low temperatures, freezing, and snow disasters; forest fire risks are high in localized areas in North China and southern China; localized areas in Southwest, Northwest face high risks of geological disasters; the upper reaches of the Yellow River in Inner Mongolia will see the first snowfall in the middle to early December.
