OpenAI is preparing to embed advertisements in ChatGPT.

Recently, according to media reports, the latest Android test version of the ChatGPT app contains about a dozen lines of code marked as "featured advertisements", which include strings referring to commercial ads such as "search ads", "search ad carousel", and "marketplace content". Last month, there were reports that OpenAI is considering personalized advertising based on ChatGPT's memory of user interactions. It is reported that OpenAI is poaching top advertising talent from competitors such as Google and Meta, while also posting advertising-related job postings on LinkedIn.
