Goldman Sachs agrees to acquire Innovator Capital Management Company for approximately $2 billion.

On December 1st, Goldman Sachs announced that it had reached an agreement to acquire Innovator Capital Management, a pioneer in fixed income ETFs. As of September 30, 2025, Innovator managed $28 billion in assets across 159 fixed income ETFs. The transaction price is approximately $2 billion, to be paid in a combination of cash and stock, and is subject to performance targets. The deal is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2026, pending regulatory approval and meeting usual closing conditions.
