Shipping company Besiktas Ship Management confirmed that an oil tanker carrying diesel fuel experienced four external explosions in the waters near Dakar, Senegal. This is the third Russian-affiliated vessel to be attacked in the past few days. The statement mentioned that the engine room of the "Merlin" oil tanker has taken on water, but the condition of the ship is stable, all crew members are safe, and no pollution accidents have occurred.
