On the evening of December 1st, vivo released a statement in response to the recent live broadcast incident. The statement mentions that on November 29th, there was an influx of many irrelevant comments in the vivo live broadcast, with the number of comments being 8.9 times higher than usual. Some derogatory comments were accidentally highlighted in the comment section. After receiving feedback from users, we immediately conducted a thorough investigation and review, and ultimately found that it was due to the panic of the host accidentally touching the screen. The statement acknowledges that this incident exposed the lack of experience in handling sudden situations and improper management in our live broadcast room, causing misunderstanding and confusion to everyone. We deeply apologize for this! At the same time, we want to make it clear that the comments mistakenly highlighted do not represent vivo's stance, and vivo strongly opposes any discriminatory or divisive comments. We will continue to optimize our service processes and mechanisms to provide users with a better experience.
