On December 1st, local time, a fire broke out at the Scottish headquarters of the British Broadcasting Corporation in Glasgow. The staff were temporarily evacuated, and the morning program was suspended. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service stated that the fire started in an air conditioning unit on the top floor of the building. It is reported that at least 7 fire engines were dispatched to the scene. The fire is now under control, and the program has resumed broadcasting.
