Airbus China: The A320 series aircraft in the Chinese market has completed the upgrade work and is operating normal flights.
Airbus announced on November 28th that a significant number of A320 series aircraft are prone to flight control software issues caused by intense sunlight, and require urgent repair. The Civil Aviation Administration of China also issued an airworthiness directive on November 29th regarding the software vulnerability of Airbus A320 series jetliners, requiring domestic airlines to carry out the necessary inspections and repairs. If not completed as required, the aircraft in question will no longer be allowed to fly. Airbus China stated on December 1st that as of November 30th, 2025, all A320 series aircraft in the Chinese civil aviation fleet have completed the necessary work in accordance with the airworthiness directive and Airbus technical documents. All A320 series aircraft currently in operation are operating smoothly and normally.
