Google CEO warns: US AI regulation confusion may lead to falling behind in global competition.

On Sunday local time, Google CEO Sundar Pichai called for the United States to enact national-level regulations on artificial intelligence, stating that the U.S. must "strike a balance" in AI regulation in order to avoid falling behind in the AI race. Pichai pointed out in an interview that currently over 1000 AI-related bills are being considered by state legislatures across the country, which could lead to regulatory confusion and put American companies at a disadvantage in the global competition.
