The Hong Kong SAR Government introduced the latest situation of the search and rescue investigation of the Wang Fuk Court fire in Tai Po on the afternoon of the 1st. The police have arrested 13 people on charges of manslaughter. The investigation is still ongoing, and more arrests are not ruled out. Through on-site investigation and evidence collection by the police, samples of canopy nets from 7 locations in the burning building were collected, which did not meet fire-retardant standards.
