The embassy reminded Chinese personnel to evacuate urgently from the border areas of Tajikistan and Afghanistan.

On December 1st, the Chinese embassy in Tajikistan issued a notice once again reminding Chinese enterprises and individuals to urgently evacuate from the Tajikistan and Afghanistan border areas. On the evening of November 30th, there was an armed attack in the Darvoz district of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region of Tajikistan bordering Afghanistan, resulting in casualties among Chinese citizens. The Chinese Embassy in Tajikistan once again reminds Chinese enterprises and individuals to urgently evacuate from the Tajikistan-Afghanistan border areas, and advises other Chinese citizens in Tajikistan not to travel to the above-mentioned areas and to take safety precautions. In case of emergency, please report to the police promptly and contact the embassy for assistance.
