The Hong Kong police stated that as of 3 pm on the 29th, the five-alarm fire at Grandeur Garden in Tai Po, Hong Kong has resulted in 128 deaths and 83 injuries. Among them, 84 deceased and 37 injured were previously reported missing, and 44 deceased have not yet been identified. Currently, about 150 citizens are still unable to be contacted, with 100 cases having fragmented information, including situations where the missing persons have not been in contact for many years. Regarding the progress of the investigation, the police stated that as evidence collection has not yet begun at the earlier fires at Homestead Tower and Grand Residence Tower, the overall investigation is estimated to take 3 to 4 weeks, with the time estimate being conservative.
